Where and when is the race on?
When: Saturday the 10th December 2011 Where: Everyone will gather in the Outlet Centre and walk down the town in a giant Santa parade to start the race on Main street. The race follows a route through the town taking in the beautiful Lakes of Killarney and the Killarney National Park. The race will then finish in the Killarney Outlet Centre. Time: Race starts @ 11am. All Participants to collect your Santa suits at the registration office in the Killarney Outlet Centre between 9.00am and 10.30am on Saturday morning.We are encouraging everyone to register on line to guarantee your Santa suit arrives from Lapland. There will be limited registration on the morning of the race.
Where do I collect my Santa Suit
When & Where: Between 9.00am and 10.30am at the registration office in the Killarney Outlet Centre. What is included in my Santa Suit? For the adults as part of your registration fee you will receive a full Santa Suit (hat, beard, jacket & pants).The Santa Suit is one size fits all.For the under 18’s you will receive a Small size t-shirt and a Santa Hat. One size fits all on the Children’s t-shirts.
We are encouraging everyone to register online to guarantee your Santa suit arrives from Lapland. There will be limited registration on the morning of the race.
What are the prizes?
There will be cash prizes / vouchers in the following categories:- 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and female across the line
- Best dressed Santa
- Best dressed Santa's little helpers
What Route does the race take
The fun run starts and finishes in Killarney Outlet Centre.
Everyone will gather in the Outlet centre between and walk down the town in a giant Santa parade to start the race on Main Street. The race follows a route through the town taking in the beautiful Lakes of Killarney and the Killarney National Park.
The race will then finish in the Killarney Outlet Centre where there will be medal presentations, entertainment, finger food and a hot cup of tea or coffee.
The route will be officially measured. The race will not be chip timed. A full downloadable map of the route will be available shortly.

The Christmas in Killarney 5k Santa run is great value fun for all the family. It is the perfect opportunity for you, your family, your friends and your work colleagues get out there and be active this Christmas.
Grab your running shoes, your Santa suit and most importantly your Christmas Spirit, and join us in Killarney for a great day out.
After the race there will be Christmas banter, entertainment & finger food. All U18's who finish the race will receive a customised finisher’s medal from a local celebrity.

What is the schedule for the day
9.00am – 10.30am Collect your Santa suit at registration desk in the Killarney Outlet Centre. 11am Everyone walks down the town in a huge Santa parade to start the race on Main Street. 11.30am – 12.30pm All runners and walkers arrive back at finish line. All finishers will be presented with a customised Santa Run medal. 12.30 pm Presentation of prizes and entertainment in Killarney Outlet Centre. Registration open November 14th.We are encouraging everyone to register online to guarantee your Santa Suit arrives from Lapland.
There will be limited registration on the morning of the race. If you register on the morning of the race you will not be guaranteed a Santa Suit.
